Hello!
Welcome to the home of my never ending thoughts. I launched my new Author's Site in early 2012 as I embarked on life as a full-time writer. I have always loved to write but finally decided to share my words with the world. In 2011 I published my first book, It's Simply...Sausalito: An Inspirational Journey. This book is very special to me because it allowed me to combine my passions for writing & photography. I was going through a lot of transformation at the time, and the words I wrote and photos I captured embodied the many lessons I learned along the journey. In early 2012 I published It's Simply...GOLDEN: 75 Years of Inspiration as a tribute to the Golden Gate Bridge and those it has inspired over the last 75 years.
Since attending the 2012 San Francisco Writers Conference in February, and IBPA Publishing University in March, my career as a writer has really taken off. I have connected with amazing individuals in the publishing industry and learning from the best. I have been eager to take what I have learned and put it into action. In April, I landed my first radio interview, first book talk, and first book signing. It was as if I had opened the flood gates of creativity because I was finally on my true path.
As 2012 came to an end, I was truly living my dream as a full-time 'artist' - a transformational author of now four books and an award winning photographer with pieces exhibited in galleries across America. I felt truly blessed.
I released my third book in July - It's Simply...SF: Our City By The Bay, highlighting the city of San Francisco, CA from a local's point of view. In November, I released my fourth book - It's Simply...SAILING: Our Voyage to the 2013 America's Cup, a book that is so special to me as it allows me to combine my passions & talents while serving others. This book features youth sailing and the voyage of a young sailor as they aim to become one of the sport's elite athletes. I'm hoping to build events around this book and the others to serve youth programs thoughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
2013 has started off with a bang. I am currently working on three projects simultaneously which I LOVE of course. I hate to be bored. The first is a new direction for me, but similar in ways. I am releasing my first Calendar - an 18-month Sailing Calendar titled It's Simply SAILING: Our Voyage Inspiring Youth. It is due out in April, just in time for sailing season in the Bay. My second project is the fifth book in the IT'S SIMPLY SERIES of photography books, It's Simply Tuesday in Paris which is slated for release in July. This book will be my first attempt at fiction writing and I'm excited. The third project is the first book in my Memoir Series, It's Simply Serendipity: Four Steps to Manifesting a Life of Bliss. I am really excited about what lies ahead. I'm beginning to learn that life is continuous transformation, and I'm taking things just one day at a time. I thank you for visiting my site and welcome you to join me on yet another new chapter in my life.
